I don't exist

Every day I’m dying,

Like everybody else.

And today I don’t exist,

I don’t exist because I don’t want to exist.

I stay in silence,

Silence has become my consolation.

And today I don’t exist,

I don’t exist to others because I prefer listening to conversations rather than contribute in them.

I'm lonely,

I’m lonely by choice,

I'm lonely because loneliness doesn’t disappoint.

I was dependent of so many,

But dependency didn’t sit me well;

People didn’t either.

And today I don’t exist,

I don’t exist because I became a shadow.

And today I don’t exist,

Because I decided not to exist.
